Craig R. Parlet, D.D.S. – Colorado Springs CO
Meet Dr. Parlet
Born and raised in South Dakota. Dr. Parlet graduated from Sioux Falls Lincoln High School in 1975. He then attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1979 and a D.D.S. (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) in 1983.
After spending his first three years in private practice in Rapid City, South Dakota, Dr. Parlet relocated to Colorado Springs in 1986. Dr. Parlet has maintained his private practice, Craig Parlet, D.D.S. Family Dentistry, since then.
Dr. Parlet finds that it is a privilege to be a charter member of two study clubs The RAZA Study Club since 1990 and the S.T.A.T. study club since 1993. Both small group study clubs allow members to be mentored, exchange ideas on current materials and techniques, and to have hands-on experience with the entire club critiquing your work.
Memberships in other organizations include:
- American Academy of Operative Dentistry
- Columbine Periodontal Study Club
- Colorado Prosthodontic Society
- Colorado Dental Association
- American Dental Association
- Colorado Springs Dental Society (currently serving on the Peer Review Committee)
- International Academy of Gnathology
- Cleft Palate Team Penrose Hospital (1986-1996)
It is Dr. Parlet’s belief that maintaining a smaller general practice with one doctor and one hygienist allows him to provide the best individualized care possible. He feels it is essential for dentists to wear eye magnification, to provide comprehensive treatment of the entire mouth, and to take the time to get to know their patients.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Parlet enjoys running, weightlifting, snowboarding, hiking and supporting Air Force athletics. Membership in a local church and in the Colorado Springs Interquest Rotary Club allows Dr. Parlet to try and give something back to the Colorado Springs community.
Thank you for taking time to read this information. Hopefully it has allowed you to know me a little better.
